Become an agile, adaptive leader
Why ROTC
On top of being the largest single scholarship provider in the country, ROTC offers cadets real-world leadership and planning courses that help them become agile, adaptive leaders in all aspects of life.
Areas of Study
Students learn leadership skills, planning skills, military history, and operational tactics. All these skills translate into the civilian world.
Graduate School
Upon completion of your degree requirements, you will spend 2-4 years gaining a foundation in safe nursing practice. After this time, you may apply for fully funded graduate school. The Army will pay your tuition, give you up to 24 months to complete your program (as a full time student), and pay your salary during this time. Graduate level study is open to Nurse Anesthesia, Nurse Midwifery, Family Nurse Practitioner, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, and a host of Clinical Nurse Specialist fields.
What can I do?
Students can learn leadership skills, advanced planning tactics, and time management skills that will test and hone a cadet’s leadership style improving leadership efficacy and adaptability.
Get involved
The program is designed to build comradery. Cadets are broken down into platoon sized elements of 10-25 cadets. All cadets will learn to rely on each other for success. This builds and maintains a team mentality which is very sought after in today’s business community.
Simultaneous Membership Program
Cadets who enlist in the National Guard or Army Reserves can receive even more financial aid for education.
Cadets will simultaneously serve in ROTC and as Soldiers in the National Guard or Reserve Component.
Qualified Soldiers may also be eligible to receive the G.I. Bill in addition to the ROTC monthly stipend.
Soldiers who enlist in the Arkansas National Guard become an in-state student and are eligible for additional tuition assistance.
Classes
